マルチキャスト

通信設備に接続された複数の(但し全てではない)ポートに同時にメッセージを伝送すること．ファイバチャネルでは，マルチキャストが特に，ファブリックに接続された複数のN ポートにメッセージを送信することを指す．

使用分野: Fibre Channel/Network

The simultaneous transmission of a message to multiple, but not all, of the ports connected to a communication facility. In a Fibre Channel context, multi-cast specifically refers to the sending of a message to multiple N_Ports connected to a fabric.
